Editor's note: PGATOUR.com has tried to make our experts work a little harder when they make their picks each week. The favorite can be anyone in the field, although Tiger Woods could only be used seven times during the year. Sleepers can't have won in 2008 or had a top 10 in their last five starts. A sleeper can't be ranked in the top 30 in the field, either.

Pick: Brandt Snedeker
The Nashville native earned his first TOUR win at the Wyndham Championship a year ago. Even though the tournament moves to a new course for the 2008 edition, I still like Sneds to come out on top. The TOUR sophomore hasn't slumped at all this season, racking up five top-10 finishes, highlighted by the memorable tie for third at the Masters. While win No. 2 can't come at the same course as win No. 1, it will come at the same tournament.

Pick: Paul Casey
Normally I'm indecisive and struggle to pick between three or more players. Not this week, as Casey's name jumped off the field list. In his past three starts -- and, mind you, those were two majors and a World Golf Championships event -- he tied for seventh (British Open), tied for eighth (Bridgestone Invitational) and tied for 15th (PGA Championship). He's never played the Wyndham Championship but, then again, no one has faced this year's new-but-old venue Sedgefield Country Club in over 30 years. Casey hasn't won on the PGA TOUR, but that will be remedied this week.

Pick: Ken Duke
He's getting better all the time. Plus, he wants a shot at playing for 'Zinger next month. New course, so the old standbys here won't have local knowledge advantage.

Pick: Ken Duke
Duke has been in contention a few times of late. This solid ball striker should take kindly to the move to this Donald Ross-designed track. A breakthrough victory would not be out of the question.

Pick: David Toms
Toms still has some work to do to impress Ryder Cup Captain Paul Azinger if he wants to earn a spot on the team. It may be a bit of a long shot considering that David doesn't have a top-10 finish this season and is 112th on the money list, but he is a wiley old veteran coming off a solid PGA Championship. It has been more than two years since David Toms last won on the PGA TOUR. It seems like he should be due and Sedgefield should be right up his alley. Straight drives and a solid putter will do a player a lot of good on the classic Donald Ross design.

Pick: Billy Mayfair
It seems that my sleeper (Brandt Snedeker) should be the name in the expert spot, but Sned's last five starts without a top-10 and his 42nd OWGR qualify him as a sleeper. Billy Mayfair, 82nd in the world, on the other hand was runner-up three weeks ago in Canada -- so is the expert pick here. A year ago Mayfair tied for second at the Wyndham. However, after a 31-year absence, the tournament has moved back to historic Sedgefield CC, a Donald Ross original, so the Sam Snead Cup could find it's way into anyone's hands as players battle for final position in the FedExCup standings.

Pick: Zach Johnson

He's always more dangerous below the Mason-Dixon line, and I like him on a course that demands accuracy and creativity over raw power.

Pick: Paul Casey
Since the Wyndham Championship is being played on a new course this year, I am looking to the FedExCup and Ryder Cup for inspiration. Paul Casey needs to impress European Captain Nick Faldo and he's playing on this side of the pond to improve on his standing of 91st in the FedExCup. Not to mention, he tied for seventh at the Open Championship, eighth at the World Golf Championship-Bridgestone Invitational and was one stroke out of another top-10 at the PGA.

Pick: Vijay Singh
His poor PGA showing is going to motivate Singh to try to put a hurt on Sedgefield Country Club. Singh didn't make the TOUR Insider's initial power rankings, but we're rethinking this. Singh should sing in Greensboro.

Pick: David Toms
No one in the field has seen Sedgefield in competition, but Toms made a trip to Greensboro a few weeks back to play it. That's an edge. At 120th in the FedExCup standings, he's motivated for a strong tournament to secure a higher seeding in the playoffs. Also, there's momentum off the T15 at the PGA last week. I like the LSU Tiger in enemy ACC territory this week.
