CAREER NOTES

Weekley's second career victory comes in the same event at the Verizon Heritage. The last player to win the same event for his first two victories on the PGA TOUR came this year when J.B. Holmes won the FBR Open after winning the event in 2006. Prior to Weekley and Holmes, the last players to perform the feat were Vaughn Taylor (2004 and 2005 Reno-Tahoe Open) and Brian Henninger (1994 and 1999 Southern Farm Bureau Classic).

Weekley's win comes one year and four days after his first career victory, the 2007 Verizon Heritage (April 16, 2008), 30 starts later. It is his sixth top-10 finish since winning last year, including a tie for third at the 2007 Viking Classic. He has nine career top-10s in 65 career TOUR starts.

Weekley surpassed the $4 million mark in PGA TOUR career earnings ($4,477,402) since becoming a member of the PGA TOUR in 2002.
