The Honda Classic is the 10th official event of the 2008 PGA TOUR season and starts the Florida Swing. Last year, Mark Wilson entered the tournament in the 131st position out of 144 players in the field, having earned his spot by grinding his way to a T29 finish at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament in 2006. This year, Wilson enters the event as the defending champion vying for a share of the 25,000 FedExCup points at stake and the $5.5 million purse.
