Tiger Woods, Kevin Streelman, Stewart Cink
Tee time:
1 p.m.
Course: Torrey Pines (South Course), Tee No. 1
Total TOUR Wins: 65
Why you should watch: Three compelling stories in this threesome, which will have the final tee time on Saturday. First you have Tiger Woods, looking to win the Buick Invitational for the sixth time in his career and for the fourth time in succession. Then you have Kevin Streelman, a rookie, who got into the field 15 minutes before his tee time as an alternate. Finally there's Stewart Cink, who's trying to win on TOUR for the first time since 2004. It'll be interesting to see how Streelman can handle the attention that goes along with playing with Tiger.

Aaron Baddeley, Boo Weekley, Brad Adamonis
Tee time:
12:49 p.m.
Course: Torrey Pines (South Course) Tee No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 3
Why you should watch: Aaron Baddeley and Boo Weekley are proven winners on the PGA TOUR. Saturday will provide the two a chance to make an early mark on the 2008 season. The third in the group is Brad Adamonis -- a 35-year-old PGA TOUR rookie. On Thursday, Adamonis admitted to feeling nervous as the cameras were present late in his round. The cameras will be there again on Saturday and so will the spectators. It will serve as a wonderful experience for Adamonis and don't be surprised if he makes the best of it.

Troy Matteson, Kenneth Ferrie, Fred Couples
Tee time:
11:54 a.m.
Course: Torrey Pines (South Course), Tee No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 16
Why you should watch: You've got to love it when Fred Couples is in contention. Sure, just like everyone else Couples will have his work cut out for him if he's going to catch Tiger Woods. But, the fact of the matter is, it's always great when Couples is healthy. Troy Matteson is one of the rising young stars on the PGA TOUR and Kenneth Ferrie is a rookie from England, who's most well-known for his tie for sixth place finish at the 2006 U.S. Open at Winged Foot.
