LIVE@ rolls on, as do the frost delays -- in the desert of all places.

All times eastern.

Daniel Chopra, Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson
Tee time:
1:36 p.m.
Total TOUR wins: 35
Why you should watch: Chopra birdied two of his last three holes in round 2 to get to within three shots of the five-way lead at the top. Snedeker shot 69 in round 2 despite making three bogeys. Imagine where he might be if those bogeys turn into pars or birdies today.

Mickelson has had a weird week, thus far. He's made back-to-back 68s, but on Thursday, he shot 37 on the back before turning in a blistering 31 on the front. In round 2, he double-bogeyed the par-4 ninth before closing with two consecutive birdies on Nos. 17 and 18 to get right back in the hunt.

Nick O'Hern, Charles Warren, Frank Lickliter II
Tee time:
2:21 p.m.
Total TOUR wins: 2
Why you should watch: It will be interesting to see how this group handles the pressure of starting the day one shot off the lead while playing in front of what will be the biggest crowd of the season.

O'Hern and Lickliter were masterful in round 2, each posting bogey-free 65s in round 2. O'Hern's included four consecutive birdies on holes 14-17. Warren had 65 on Thursday, but was a little more human in his two-day second round with a two-bogey 69.

O'Hern 1 1 -- -- -- -- -- 71.65

Kenny Perry, Camilo Villegas, Pat Perez
Tee time:
2:30 p.m.
Total TOUR wins: 0
Why you should watch: This group features two guys looking for their first PGA TOUR title and one guy looking for his 10th. Perry, though, hasn't won since 2005. In front of the huge crowds expected on Saturday, which of them will rise up?

The newly-fit Perez needs to make up a shot, while Perry and Villegas start round 3 tied for the lead at 9 under. Perez, meanwhile, had the best round of the three, a 65 -- which actually could have been better had he not missed a very short birdie putt on the infamous 16th hole.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Perry 3 2 -- -- 1 1 1 70.31
Villegas 1 1 -- -- -- -- 1 70.05
Perez 2 1 -- -- -- 1 1 70.24

J.B. Holmes, Doug LaBelle II, Jonathan Byrd
Tee time:
2:39 p.m.
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: LabLabelleoks to be the first Monday qualifier in more than 20 years to win on the PGA TOUR. Holmes is looking to repeat the coming out party that was his victory here at the FBR in 2006 and Byrd is working toward his first top-10 since September.

Here's the stat of the day: Of the three, Holmes had the highest score in round 2 -- a bogey-free 65.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Holmes 2 2 -- -- -- -- 1 70.01
Labelle II 2 2 -- -- -- 1 2 69.26
