While the top-25 finishers on the final Nationwide Tour money list earn exemptions for the 2009 PGA TOUR season, the leading money winner is granted the additional perk of a berth into THE PLAYERS Championship.

Brendon de Jonge enters this week's season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch first on the money list with $415,835, ahead of Jarrod Lyle in second by $39,897. While de Jonge is in a strong position to maintain this position, there are 18 players with a mathematical chance of taking it from him.

The chart below shows where these players need to finish to have a chance to end the season atop the money list, based on where de Jonge places. For example, if de Jonge wins the event, there is no one in the field who can pass him. If he finishes second, Jarrod Lyle could end the season in first place with a win at the Nationwide Tour Championship.
