Cameron Beckman's outlook on the 2009 season changed in the blink of an eye when he won the Frys.com Open last fall. He had entered the tournament ranked 173rd on the money list and now has the luxury of a two-year exemption.
The playoff win over Kevin Sutherland marked Beckman's first top-10 of the season. With the pressure suddenly off, the man who had earlier gone six starts without picking up a paycheck was able to add another top-10 in the final event of the year.
To build on that momentum and just the second $1 million season of his career, Beckman will need shore up his short game. The two-time TOUR champ ended the season ranked 143rd in total putting, which is a combination of six different stats.
