| Unlike some of his brethren, Troy Matteson had no anxious moments this fall as the PGA TOUR season wound to a conclusion. A third straight $1 million season means he'll start 2009 on equal footing with 125 of the best players in the world.
Success came early to Matteson, who won the 2005 Frys.com Open in his 33rd start on TOUR, one of five consecutive top-10s to end a standout rookie season. He's been solid, if not spectacular since, and tied for second at the PODS Championship last year.
Tee to green, Matteson has been solid, ranking 49th in total driving and 32nd in greens in regulation. His putting stats, though, have left room for improvement - he's averaging 30.03 per round, and his scoring average is 71.29.

| When Troy gets hot, he reels off good week after good week. His game is hardly a rambling wreck. |
