With split time between the PGA TOUR and Europe, Adam Scott has the chance to chase the FedExCup and partake in the Race to Dubai in 2009. Another year with wins on both sides of the Atlantic would be key to that quest. Scott started '08 with a win at the Commercialbank Qatar Masters on the strength of a closing 61 that tied his career low. Three months later, he showed grit as he atoned for losing a three-stroke lead with birdie on the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Ryan Moore at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship. He then got his sixth TOUR win when he drained a 48 footer on the third extra hole. Contending in majors would be a big boost as those events count in both bonus competitions. Scott only has four top 10s in 31 major starts, so that's an area he'd like to improve. -- Helen Ross

Adam's good looks, money, youth and talent will only take him so far; the rest he has to work for -- I guess.
