Steve Flesch can circle two dates on his calendar in 2009 and both are majors - the Masters and the PGA Championship. He earned a return trip to Augusta National when he tied for fifth last year and to Chaska, Minn., for the PGA at Hazeltine with a solo sixth. Those two well-timed performances were Flesch's only top-10s all year and accounted for nearly half his $1.2 million in earnings. The four-time TOUR champ was coming off a two-win season so 2008 wasn't the step forward he would have liked. The affable man from Kentucky ranked 185th in total driving - which combines accuracy and length, 109th in greens in regulation and 106th in scoring. But he did get to make his network commentary debut, working for the GOLF CHANNEL at the Ryder Cup. -- Helen Ross

Steve's hairline may be receding but the game is still there. Two wins in '07 shows that he knows how to get it done.
