It seems to be feast or famine with Rod Pampling these days. If the Aussie can find some consistency in 2009, he just might pick up his third PGA TOUR win.
Pampling made the cut in exactly half of the 28 events he entered in 2008 - that's the famine part. But when he did stay around to play the weekend the 39-year-old veteran usually played well with 10 top-25 finishes and five top-10s.
His best chance to win last year came at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Pampling led by two strokes entering the back nine but was beaten by Phil Mickelson's 9-foot birdie on the final hole.
