A trio of top-10s over his last 10 starts -- including a share of ninth at the PGA Championship -- gave Charlie Wi something to build upon in 2009. The well-traveled Wi, who has nine international victories to his credit, is coming off his best season on the PGA TOUR. He earned more than $1.5 million and finished 61st on the money list, earning spots in invitationals like the Memorial Tournament. Wi has closed well to post runner-up finishes in each of the last two years. In 2007 he birdied four of his last five holes to tie for second in Milwaukee. At the Valero Texas Open last fall, he roared into contention with a final-round 61 but this time the birdie binge stopped at No. 15 and Zach Johnson came away with the win. -- Helen Ross
