A trio of top-10s in his last six starts -- including a tie for fifth at the second event of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup -- gave Tim Herron momentum heading into the 2009 campaign. The four-time PGA TOUR champion eclipsed the $1 million mark for the sixth time in his career. Nearly half of that total, though, came in those final six events as Herron made a spirited bid in the Playoffs and the Fall Series. Success in 2009 could revolve around hitting more greens -- and getting it closer when he does. Herron ranked 163rd in GIR, and in the 11 distance to the pin categories, he was 123rd or higher in all but three. -- Helen Ross
