He has a little less hair, but the smile that won so many fans at the Masters in 1998 is still there. Maybe the 2009 season will be the year Matt Kuchar turns the clock back and picks up another victory to go with his first that came seven years ago. Kuchar was in the midst of a solid season -- having earned more than $900,000 when he inexplicably missed seven cuts in a row during the summer of 2008. He'd posted four top-10s and seven top-25s when his game left him. The former Georgia Tech All-American came back with a vengeance, though, finishing one stroke behind Marc Turnesa at the Justin Timblerlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open. He closed with a 67 that day and held the lead with four holes to go before Turnesa overtook him. -- Helen Ross
