Ryan Palmer has the luxury of a two-year exemption in 2009 after winning the Ginn sur Mer Classic last fall. That's big for a man who finished 144th on the money list in 2007 and stood 143rd when he came to Palm Coast, Fla., the week that he won last year. Palmer's victory was hard-fought. The final round was suspended twice by bad weather and there was a six-way tie for the lead the first time it was halted. Not to mention, the Texan had to call a one-stroke penalty on himself when his ball moved at address. Ironically, both of Palmer's wins have come in the penultimate full-field event of the season. In five years on TOUR, the Texas A&M grad and fervent Dallas Cowboys fan has now won just under $6 million. -- Helen Ross

Ryan won in dramatic fashion at the Ginn sur Mer Classic to save his career. Looking forward to seeing if he steps up or fades away again.
