What a difference a year makes -- just ask Dudley Hart. A year ago he entered the season with uncertainty, playing on a Major Medical Extension. As he contemplates 2009, though, his confidence is brimming after what became a career year.
Hart set the tone for the season with a trio of top-10s in his first 10 starts, including a tie for third at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am during which he shared the 54-hole lead with Vijay Singh. Five more top-10s followed on the way to career earnings of $2.2 million.
Hart really got things heated up in the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup where he finished second to Camilo Villegas at the BMW Championship. That earned Hart a spot in his first TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola, where he tied for 10th. -- Helen Ross
