He may be in the second of a two-year PGA TOUR exemption, but Mark Wilson has got to feel very good about his prospects for the 2009 season.
The former UNC standout, who won the 1996 Ben Hogan Award as the nation's top collegiate golfer, completed his second consecutive $1 million season after claiming five top-10 finishes. Three of those came in his final nine starts as Wilson finished strong.
Wilson's best finish of the year came at the Valero Texas Open where the 2007 Honda Classic champ tied for second after posting all four rounds in the 60s. -- Helen Ross
