TOURNAMENT RECAP: Al Geiberger returned to winning form at THE PLAYERS. In Fort Worth, Texas, in 100-plus degree Temperatures, he finished with a total 270 for a wire-to- wire three-stroke victory. He produced four sub-70 rounds to beat good friend Dave Stockton after a nerve-wracking final round that turned into a two-horse race and set a Colonial Country Club record with his 54-hole total of 201.
