Last week: Ginn sur Mer Classic
• This week: Children's Miracle Network Classic

Biggest mover: Ryan Palmer
He moved: 70 spots, from 143rd to 73rd
Because: He won the Ginn sur Mer Classic.
Palmer was 143rd on the Money List and in danger of losing his TOUR card and exempt status on the PGA TOUR in 2009. To top it off, he made a rules mistake and had to call a penalty on himself on the 10th hole, which gave him a double bogey during the back nine on Sunday and made it look like he didn't stand a chance. But Palmer rallied to win the tournament and now has a spot on the PGA TOUR for two more years.

Welcome to the top 125: Vaughn Taylor
He moved: 29 spots, from 129th to 100th
Because: He tied for second at the Ginn sur Mer Classic.
Taylor started off his year well by notching a tie for eighth at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Then he faltered, missing 11 cuts and earning only seven top-25 finishes over the next nine months. Taylor tied for second at last week's event, however, and moved off the bubble and into the top 125.

Welcome to the top 80: George McNeill
He moved: 17 spots, from 92nd to 75th
Because: He finished second at the Ginn sur Mer Classic.
McNeill used a score of 69 in the final round of the Ginn sur Mer Classic to move from a tie for 10th into a tie for second at the event, which gave him a $276,000 paycheck. It also earned him a spot inside the top 80 -- which means he can now play in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial -- and, if McNeill can finish high at the Children's Miracle Network Classic, he could move into the top 70. What would that do for him? He'd then have a place in the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard and the Memorial Tournament.

Welcome to the top 30: Brian Gay
He moved: 3 spots, from 33rd to 30th
Because: He tied for seventh at the Ginn sur Mer Classic.
Advancing three spots wasn't one of the best or biggest moves of the week but Gay is probably pretty happy about it. If he retains his current spot inside the top 30 on the Money List, then he'll earn an invite into the Masters and U.S. Open for 2009. Gay's final-round 69 at the Ginn sur Mer Classic helped him make the move.

What's at stake in the Fall Series:
Win: Invitation to the Mercedes-Benz Championship, two-year PGA TOUR exemption
Top 30 Money List: Invitations to the Masters and U.S. Open
Top 70 Money List: Spots in the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard and the Memorial Tournament
Top 80 Money List: Invitation to the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial
Top 125 Money List: Spots in the Verizon Heritage, THE PLAYERS Championship and AT&T National
