PGATOUR.COM takes a look at PGA TOUR players primed to contend for the Race to Dubai title. To make this list, players must have competed in 15 or more events on TOUR in 2008. MORE: Contenders from the European Tour

| 1. Padraig Harrington |
Splitting time between continents last year, the Irishman was fourth entering the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup and managed to finish second on the European Tour's Order of Merit last year. So why wouldn't he contend? Not to mention, Harrington is supremely confident now after winning three of the last six majors -- two of those being the '07 and '08 Open Championships. Don't be surprised to see him contend for a third straight major at Augusta National in April. Profile | Stats | Results |

| 2. Sergio Garcia |
Had a few putts gone his way, the feisty Spaniard could have changed the outcome of the FedExCup. As it was, the reigning PLAYERS champion finished third and placed ninth on the Order of Merit despite playing in just 13 events. He contended at the PGA Championship until hitting his approach into the water at the 16th hole on Sunday, and he won his seventh European Tour event just last month. Profile | Stats | Results |

| 3. Anthony Kim |
The young gun has already paid his European Tour membership so he's ready to reap the bounty on both sides of the Atlantic. The 23-year-old Kim picked up his first two PGA TOUR victories this year and had six other top-10 finishes, including ties for third in his last two starts. The 2009 season could be a most excellent adventure for the No. 7 player in the world. Profile | Stats | Results |

| 4. Camilo Villegas |
The talented Colombian is another who has already forked over the $3,280 to join the European Tour. Villegas ended the 2008 PGA TOUR season with a bang -- winning the final two events and placing second to Vijay Singh in the FedExCup. Like Kim, he'll need to learn what works best in terms of scheduling to give him the best chance to contend. Profile | Stats | Results |

| 5. Geoff Ogilvy |
The Australian is expected to take up European Tour membership for 2009. A former U.S. Open champion, Ogilvy won the World Golf Championships-CA Championship in 2008, his fourth title in as many years. Ranked 18th in the world, Ogilvy last played the European Tour in 2000. Profile | Stats | Results |
