The Ginn sur Mer Classic cut came at 2-over par, with the top 74 players and ties making the cut. Therefore, there will be no cut on Saturday.

Positive movers

Bob Estes. The veteran fired a 5-under 67 (after a first-round 75) to move to a tie for 13th and easily make the cut.

Chad Collins. At 183rd on the money list, Collins needed his second-round 69 in order to have a chance at the weekend. Sitting in a tie for 23rd, his first-round 74 has temporarily been forgiven.

Will MacKenzie. He has one Fall Series win, but he got off to a rocky start in the first-round with a 3-over 75. He managed to make some repairs to his scorecard on Friday, though, with a 2-under 72 to move into a tie for 45th.

Negative movers

James Driscoll. Driscoll opened with a 4-under 68, but he lost his shot at the weekend when he stumbled to a 7-over 79 in the second round. He missed the cut by one.

Bo Van Pelt. A solid 70 in the first round kept Van Pelt in the game at first, but his harsh day of bogies (on the second through fifth, the seventh, eighth, 10th, 12th and 15th) couldn't be saved by birdies at the first and the last. His Friday 79 slammed his trunk for him. He missed the cut by three.

Brad Faxon. The Rhode Island native had a so-so first round; he shot a 1-under 71. It would have been enough to get him through the weekend had he been able to do it again, but three double bogeys in his second round dashed his chances. He shot 6-over 78 on Friday and missed the cut by three.

On the number

Billy Andrade. After a first-round 75, Andrade's Friday 71 was just enough to make it to the weekend.

Rod Perry. Perry tested himself on Friday. He started out the week with a solid 2-under and then barely made it past the second round after a second-round 76.

Notable missed cuts

Rich Beem. The Beemer, 137th on the money list, couldn't break par in either of the first tewo rounds. He has just one more chance to move into the top 125 -- next week at the Childrens Miracle Network Classic.

Davis Love III. Two top 10s and a tie for 11th in three of his four Fall Series starts moved Davis up to 115th on the money list after starting the close of the season outside the magic number, which is why it was surprising to see him miss the cut this week due to 75-72 start to the tournament.
