Marc Turnesa, Zach Johnson, Brad Faxon
Tee time: 8:10 a.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 13
Why you should watch: Johnson has turned in back-to-back top-10 performances, including his win a few weeks back at the Valero Texas Open. Of his last eight TOUR rounds, four have been 65 or lower. For Turnesa, it's been feast or famine during the Fall Series. He won in Las Vegas, lost in a playoff in the Viking Classic, but missed the cut in his other two autumnal starts. Faxon is making his second TOUR start of 2008, after missing the cut at Turning Stone.

Jeff Overton, John Merrick, Jason Day
Tee time: 8:30 a.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 0
Why you should watch: As Craig Dolch wrote Wednesday, Overton fell out of the top 125 on the money list after taking last week off in order to have an emergency appendectomy. As a result, he is in the field this week despite feeling about "65 percent," but that might be a kind estimate. He has done little but chip and putt since leaving the hospital. He won't play a hole before Thursday's first round, preferring to preserve his energy. "I'm not really sure what I'm going to be able to do this week," Overton said. "Honestly, I wasn't worried about (finishing in the top 125) before this happened, because I was playing so well." Before the operation, Overton had two top-10 finishes in three starts.

Jason Gore, Dicky Pride, Patrick Sheehan
Tee time: 1:10 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 2
Why you should watch: Sheehan is currently the man in the hot seat at 125th on the money list. Sheehan is $6,654 ahead of No. 126, Overton, with just two weeks remaining in the season. While Sheehan hasn't missed a cut in the Fall Series, he also hasn't finished inside the top 30. Pride has made five cuts in 13 starts in 2008. He sits 198th on the money list and would likely need a victory to get into the top 125. Gore has struggled since an eighth-place run in Mississippi in June, but he's still on the money list bubble. He starts the week in 135th, about $94,000 below the exemption line.
