VILAMOURA, Portugal (AP) -- Stuart Manley of Wales led the Portugal Masters for a second straight day after shooting 4-under 68 in the second round Friday.

Manley, seeking his first European Tour victory, had an eagle and two birdies on the back nine to total 11 under and remain one ahead of Alvaro Quiros of Spain, who shot a bogey-free 68.

Sweden's Magnus Carlsson (66) and Scotland's Paul Lawrie (65) were another shot back in third.

European Order of Merit hopeful Robert Karlsson (67) and four others were three strokes behind at 8 under.

Sweden's Karlsson was looking to win his third straight European Tour event to strengthen his lead atop the money standings with only one tournament to play before the season-ending Volvo Masters.
