We finally got out of Mosul today. Unfortunately we had to skip some FOBs on our trip due to the sand storms. I wish this weren't the case but there is nothing we could do. We made it to Bagdad and had a nice visit with Maj. Gen. Hammond and Brig. Gen. Gremsley.

After our meet and greet we had a small clinic and gave away a bunch of clubs, balls and hats.

Tomorrow and Thursday we will visit two small FOBs. I am really excited about the next two days. We will get to visit with guys who have not had many visitors. We will get them to rip some balls into the desert and have some fun.

It is amazing to me how appreciative all the troops have been. If they appreciate us 1/10th as much as we appreciate them then these trips are well worth it. I am looking forward to letting you all know how the next two days go.

I would like to give a big thank you to Maj. Paul Allmon and Sgt. Kevin Johnston for their hard work with our tour. They made everything very easy for us for the time we were with them in Mosul.

Until next time,

Carl
