MAINEVILLE, Ohio (AP) -- Danielle Frasier shot a 3-under 69 on Friday to increase her lead to five strokes in the girls' division at the Junior PGA Championship, while Anthony Paolucci also had a 69 to open a two-shot cushion in the boys' competition.

The 15-year-old Frasier, from Encinitas, Calif., had a 7-under 209 total at TPC River's Bend. She hit 16 greens in regulation in her bogey-free round.

"I played a mistake-free round today, which helped me increase my lead," Frasier said. "There were so many putts that were burning the edge of the hole for birdie and lipping out, but what are you going to do."

Sarah Brown of Phillipsburg, N.J., was second after a 73. Defending champion Alexis Thompson of Coral Springs, Fla.; Erynne Lee of Silverdale, Wash.; and Karen Chung of Livingston, N.J., were third at 1 under. Thompson shot a 70.

"I am not making anything this week so far," Thompson said. "But if I make a few putts and roll in a few birdies early, I can put some pressure on her going into the back nine tomorrow."

Paolucci, from Dallas, had a 13-under 203 total. Luke Guthrie of Quincy, Ill., was second after a 69, and T.J. Vogel of Miami, was 10 under after a 72.

"I am going to play my first nine holes tomorrow like I have been all week, which is making sure I get my ball in the fairway off the tee," Paolucci said. "If someone else is making birdies and making a good run, I will change my mind-set and go to match play."
