Vijay Singh, Kirk Triplett, David Toms
Tee time:
7:30 a.m.
Tee: No. 10
Total TOUR wins: 47
Why you should watch: Singh should be determined to play well after a disappointing week last week at Oakland Hills. Still, Singh has two top-five finishes in his last four starts, including a win at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Toms hasn't missed a cut since the Masters. He tied for 15th last week at Oakland Hills. Triplett needs something good to happen. In three TOUR starts this season, he has yet to crack the top 50.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Singh 18 14 1 2 1 6 11 70.55
Triplett 3 2 0 0 0 0 0 71.00
Toms 16 13 0 0 0 0 5 71.70

Brian Gay, Brandt Snedeker, Mark Calcavecchia
Tee time
: 7:40 a.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 15
Why you should watch: Snedeker is wasting no time in his defense of his first career PGA TOUR win. Some of our experts believe that Snedeker has a chance to go back-to-back. However, Snedeker has struggled recently, not cracking the top 20 on TOUR since he tied for ninth at the U.S. Open back in June. Gay, on the other hand, has three top-20 finishes in his past five TOUR starts, including a tie for seventh at the Buick Open. Calcavecchia, coming off a knee injury last month, has struggled some, though he did tie for 14th at the John Deere Classic.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Gay 21 14 1 0 0 4 9 70.49
Snedeker 22 15 0 0 1 5 7 71.47
Calcavecchia 21 11 0 0 0 2 5 72.00

Joe Ogilvie, Zach Johnson, John Senden
Tee time: 12:40 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 5
Why you should watch: It's hard to believe, but Johnson needs a solid week this week to even get himself a decent seed for the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. Coming into this week, Johnson sits 109th in the FedExCup standings on the strength of just one top-10 finish this season -- a tie for ninth at the World Golf Championships-CA Championship. What's more, the 2007 Masters champions missed the cut at Oakland Hills last week.

2008 Stat Comparison
Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Ogilvie 22 17 0 0 0 3 5 71.30
Johnson 19 15 0 0 0 1 5 71.78
Senden 21 15 0 1 0 2 7 71.18
