Vijay Singh became the oldest winner of the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational at the age of 45 years and 160 days. Vijay's path to victory over 72 holes was unconventional in terms of scoring. He played 20 holes under par, the second-most by a winner at this event. Only Tiger Woods had more with 23 in 2000. Conversely, he tied Darren Clarke and Tiger Woods for the most holes played over par by the winner of this championship with 8 bogeys and 1 double in four rounds of play.
