Michael Bradley, Jason Dufner
Tee time:
1:40 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 2
Why you should watch: Michael Bradley has won on the PGA TOUR twice in his career, but it's been a while. Bradley's last win came in 1998 at Doral. This weekend, he finds himself as one of the pace-setters in Memphis. Because of injuries, Bradley is making just his fourth start of the season this week, which makes his play all the more remarkable. Dufner, on the other hand, has been splitting time between the PGA TOUR and the Nationwide Tour in 2008. It's been a rough year with poor finishes, but Dufner could change all that with solid play this weekend.

Vijay Singh, Alex Cejka
Tee time:
1:13 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 31
Why you should watch: Vijay Singh has yet to win on the PGA TOUR in 2008. Barring the majors, there isn't likely to be a place Singh would rather win these days than in Memphis. During a visit to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 2007, Singh was touched. This year he's donating $5,000 per eagle to the hospital. He'll start the third round trailing by one shot, but is more experienced in the win department than any other player in the top 10. For his part, Cejka has two top-10 finishes in 2008, but has been having a rough go of it lately. He could change that quickly this weekend.

Singh 12 10 -- 2 1 4 8 70.43

slocum_split.jpg

Heath Slocum, Trevor Immelman
Tee time:
12:28 p.m.
Tee: No. 1
Total TOUR wins: 4
Why you should watch: Heath Slocum has been knocking on the door of PGA TOUR win No. 3 quite frequently in 2008, but hasn't been able to close the deal just yet. He's a calm player, which will go a long way in Memphis this weekend where TPC Southwind is playing harder than ever. Meanwhile, Trevor Immelman has made the cut for the first time since his brilliant Masters win. Both players will start the day three shots off the lead, but anything can happen on a tough, demanding course. Don't count either of them out.

Player Events Played Cuts Made 1st 2nd 3rd Top 10 Top 25 Scoring Avg.
Slocum 14 12 -- -- -- 3 3 71.42
Immelman 12 6 1 -- -- 1 2 72.31
