ADARE, Ireland (AP) -- France's Michael Lorenzo-Vera shot a 2-under 70 on Friday to take a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Irish Open.
The 23-year-old Lorenzo-Vera, the PGA European Challenge Tour money leader last year, had a 6-under 138 total on the Adare Manor course.
Germany's Marcel Siem (71) was second, and Australia's Richard Green (74) and Spain's Pablo Larrazabal (70) followed at 4 under.
Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke (69) topped a group at 3 under. Ireland's Padraig Harrington, the defending champion, was 1 under after a 71.
