Boo Weekley recorded 23 holes under par during the successful defense of his title at the Verizon Heritage this week. For Weekley, this is the most holes he has played under par in a single PGA TOUR event. Weekley's previous high came at the 2007 Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun when he carded 22 holes under par on his way to a sixth-place finish. The 23 holes under par put Weekley just one behind the most recorded by a champion in the past 25 years at the Verizon Heritage. In 1993, David Edwards carded 24 holes under par during en route to his victory.
