PGATOUR.com nominated for two Emmys

Two PGATOUR.com features have been nominated for Sports Emmy awards.

Kevin Streelman: 24 Hours to the PGA TOUR was nominated in the Outstanding New Approaches -- Long Form category. The original broadband production documents the last 24 hours of Streelman's quest to earn his PGA TOUR card at the 2007 qualifying school. The feature was produced by PGA TOUR Productions in association with PGATOUR.com.

In addition, PGATOUR.com's LIVE@ series was nominated in the Oustanding New Approaches -- Coverage category. The series is produced jointly by PGA TOUR Productions, PGATOUR.com and Turner Sports Interactive.

In addition, Inside the PGA TOUR was nominated in the Outstanding Live Event Turnaround category for its coverage of the Deutsche Bank Championship, the second event in the inaugural PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. The show was shot in four days and aired a day later.

Nominations were made in 30 categories. This is the first time PGA TOUR Productions, in association with PGATOUR.com, has been nominated in more than one category in the same year.

The Emmys will be handed out on April 28 at the Time Warner Center in New York City.
