Rock Solid Performance: Phil Mickelson wins the Northern Trust Open
Phil Mickelson was rock solid down the stretch on Sunday, holding off Jeff Quinney to win the 2008 Northern Trust Open. With the exception of driving accuracy, Mickelson was better than the field in all key statistical categories -- and was in the top 10 for greens in regulation, scrambling, and holes played under par.

The following scoremap depicts the path taken by the champion and top finishers to arrive at the final winning score. The vertical axis on the left represents the number of strokes a player was ahead or behind the final leading score at a given point in time. The actual leading score relative to par is indicated in red.
