J.B. Holmes withstood a late charge by the second-ranked player in the world to win the FBR Open on Sunday. Holmes birdied the 18th hole in the final round to force a playoff with Phil Mickelson, then birdied it again in the first hole of sudden death for the victory. Known as one of the longest drivers on TOUR, Holmes averaged 303 yards off the tee for the tournament. His length benefited him in the playoff, where he bombed a 359-yard drive (nearly 60 yards past Mickelson) to set up an 8-foot putt for birdie and the win.

The following scoremap depicts the path taken by the champion and top finishers to arrive at the final winning score.
