Nationwide Tour: Impact of last two events on money list

The following gauges the money list impact of the Nationwide Tour's last two tournaments which featured the two largest purses played to date in the Tour's history -- the $800,099 Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic (FWGC) and the $1 million Nationwide Tour Players Cup (NWTPCup).

Players Cup winner Rick Price and Peter Tomasulo, who finished tied for third twice, were outside the top 35 two weeks ago and have moved into 3rd and 11th, respectively, on the money list. Price was 40th after the Knoxville Open and Tomasulo was 37th. Huge moves were made by Ford Wayne Gretzky winner Justin Hicks (from 160 to 16th) and Nationwide Tour Players Cup playoff runner-up Chris Anderson (from 141 to 25) to put them into "The 25" picture. With his second win of the year in Knoxville, Jarrod Lyle returned to the top of the money list and is still on top two weeks later despite a tie for 51st and a missed cut in Canada and W. Va., respectively. At season's end in November "The 25" leading money winners will receive PGA TOUR cards for 2009.
