For the sixth consecutive week, the biggest mover was not the winner of the tournament.

Last week: the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
This week: Stanford St. Jude Championship
Complete FedExCup standings

Biggest mover: Rocco Mediate
He moved: 53 spots, from 178th to 125th
Because: He tied for sixth at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
Mediate's tie for sixth last week was helped by a one-bogey 69 on Sunday. It is his best finish since he tied for 36th at the Verizon Heritage. Before that, his best finish were ties for 50th at the FBR Open and the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Welcome to the top five: Kenny Perry
He moved: 15 spots, from 19th to fourth
Because: He won the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
Once Perry strung six birdies together on Thursday, you kind of had a feeling it was going to be one of those weeks. The win is Perry's second top-two finish in three weeks. He's now seventh on TOUR in scoring average and he leads the TOUR in scoring average before the cut.

goggin.72.jpg

Welcome to the top 50: Mathew Goggin
He moved: 31 spots, from 75th to 44th
Because: He tied for second at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
There's little doubt that Goggin is replaying Sunday's final round in his head a few times. Five bogeys peppered in a 74 that left him two shots off the lead. However, all is hardly lost for Goggin. He's got five top-20 finishes in his past seven TOUR starts. That's a little thing called momentum.

Welcome to the top 50: Mike Weir
He moved: 33 spots, from 71st to 38th
Because: He tied for second at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
A flawless Saturday in tough conditions propelled Weir up the leaderboard. It also led Weir to his fourth top-20 finish in his past seven starts and his second top-five finish of the year. How is he doing it? For one thing, he's fifth on the TOUR this season in sand saves. For another, he's sixth in GIR percentage from inside 100 yards.

rose.72.jpg

Welcome to the top 100: Justin Rose
He moved: 49 spots, from 121st to 72nd
Because: He tied for second at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley
Before last weekend, Rose had not made a cut since he tied for 36th at the Masters. Before that, he had strung three top-15 finishes together. "I've been working hard and I've been -- I feel like I've been getting somewhere," Rose said early in the week. Truer words likely were never spoken.
