Wagner is riding the strength of his win at the Shell Houston Open. He'll need to win again or average about 200 points per start for the rest of the year to stay in the top 30.

Player: Kevin Sutherland

Sutherland is having a solid year, averaging about 325 FedExCup points per start, slightly higher than last year, when he was the 47 seed in the Playoffs. He could move as high as seventh in the FedExCup standings with a victory this week.

Player: Troy Matteson

Matteson can move into the top 10 with a victory this week.

Player: Dudley Hart
Position: 65th
Points: 2,223
Hart did not make the Playoffs last year due to a season-ending injury, but should be on track to be in good position this year, at 65th in the current FedExCup standings.

Player: Mathew Goggin

Goggin is well ahead of last year's FedExCup points pace, when he was the 107th seed, and stands to gain even more ground this week, since he didn't get any points at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship last year. Goggin could move as high as 8th in the FedExCup standings with a victory this week.

Durant was the 123rd seed in the Playoffs last year, with just under 2,400 points. This year, thanks to a top-10 at the Buick Invitational and three other top-25s, he is averaging nearly double last year's points per start, at 183.

Player: Charley Hoffman

Points: 1,917
Charley Hoffman is off his pace from 2007, earning an average of 174 points per start this year versus 270 last year. Other than his victory at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic last year, however, he is playing better this year -- his 174 average points per start this year is more than 100 points better than his average last year excluding the win. It has been feast or famine for Hoffman this year -- he has made only four cuts in 11 starts, but has two top-10s and a T20 among those four made cuts.

Ridings stands to make a significant move in the FedExCup this week if he can continue to play well the rest of the way. A top-five could move him into the top 70. A win would put him in the top 15.

Player: Jesper Parnevik
Position: 142nd
Points: 641
Parnevik needs some solid finishes to improve on last year's FedExCup finish, when he missed all but the first Playoff event. Any top-five finish this week would get him solidly into the top 100.
