Player: D.J. Trahan
Rank: 15th
Points: 5,062
Trahan was 115th seed last year, and wasn't eligible for the 3rd Playoff event. He has nearly doubled last year's point total, however, and has a good chance to be around for all 4 Playoff events this year. Trahan is one of six players under 30 to win this year, of whom four -- J.B. Holmes, Sean O'Hair, Trevor Immelman and he -- have multiple PGA TOUR victories. All four of those players are in the top 15 in the FedExCup standings.

Player: Anthony Kim
Rank: 82nd
Points: 1,715
Kim could move into the top 10 in the FedExCup standings with a victory this week.

Player: John Rollins
Rank: 112th
Points: 981
Rollins was the 16th seed last year with over 9,700 points, but he has a long way to go to catch that -- by this point last year, he had three top-fives and five other top-25s. This year, he has two top-25s.

Player: Daniel Chopra
Rank: 14th
Points: 5,168
Chopra and Trahan, who are currently 14th and 15th in the FedExCup standings, were only one spot apart at the end of the Regular Season last year, also -- in 114th and 115th. Both have already nearly doubled last year's point total.

Player: Justin Leonard
Rank: Eighth
Points: 6,552 pts
Leonard is one of 4 players in the top 10 in the FedExCup standings at this point without a win. At this point last year, only two players in the top 10 were winless, but Leonard's 10 of 10 made cuts, 3 top 5s and another top 10 finish have kept him near the top all year.

Player: Dustin Johnson
Rank: 65th
Points: 2,068
Johnson is 5th among Nationwide and Q-School graduates in the points standings, about 800 behind the leader John Merrick. He started brilliantly, but in his last 6 events, he hasn't cracked the top 50, including 4 missed cuts.

Player: Cliff Kresge
Rank: 56th
Points: 2,387
Kresge is having the best year of his career so far this year, highlighted by a tie for third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. With a top-10 finish this week, he can surpass all of last year's FedExCup points total, and a win would put him solidly in the top 10 in the standings.

Player: J.B. Holmes
Rank: 10th
Points: 6,210
Holmes is one of 6 players under 30 to win this year, of whom 4 -- J.B. Holmes, Sean O'Hair, Trevor Immelman and D.J. Trahan -- have multiple PGA TOUR victories. All 4 of those players are in the top 15 in the FedExCup standings. Holmes is one of three players in the field (with Daniel Chopra and D.J. Trahan) who is 100 or more places ahead of his final 2007 Regular Season standing. He was seeded 112th last year. His 6,210 points this year virtually assures him a top 50 seed.

Player: Stewart Cink
Rank: Sixth
Points: 7,746
Cink could move to second in the FedExCup standings with a win, and virtually assure himself a top-10 seed at the end of the Regular Season. With a top-10 finish, Cink could move to third in the FedExCup standings, and become the highest ranked player without a victory in 2008.

Player: Chad Campbell
Rank: 22nd
Points: 4,475 pts
Campbell's T2 at the Shell Houston Open moved him from 48th to 20th in the FedExCup standings. A second this week could propel him to seventh. A victory would put him in the top three.

Player: Camilo Villegas
Rank: 105th
Points: 1,126
Camilo did not have a great regular season last year, but came on very strong in the Playoffs, with three top-10s and an additional top-25 finish. He was the 52nd seed in the Playoffs and finished 24th in the Cup standings. Under the new Playoff points structure, he would have finished 13th.
