SCOTTY CAMERON BALL MARK
Most golfers throw down a coin or wedge a piece of plastic in the green to mark their ball. The notion of spending $44 for a ball mark seems absurd, right? Well, not if you want to make more putts. That's where Scotty Cameron comes in. The master putter designer has devised a 1 3/16th inch square piece of stainless steel that will help golfers set their balls on the right line.
The tool has a dominant center line with three smaller lines on each side of it. These lines create what Cameron calls "the railroad effect" allowing you to try to envision the way the ball is tracking toward the hole. There's a more detailed description and slide show at scottycameron.com. After watching it, you might not think spending $44 for a ball mark is such a crazy notion.
