TRIP TO PINEHURST
Making the pilgrimage to Pinehurst is a treat in itself, but if you really want to go in style, consider the "Buddy Trip." On the course, golfers can play as much as they want, including a round on Pinehurst's famed No. 2.
To make you feel even more like a pro, you will be accompanied on No. 2 with a caddie wearing your name on the bib. The caddies also will offer encouragement after you four-putt one of those diabolical greens.
Off the course, you will stay at a villa stocked with all your beverage needs. The package also includes a steak and lobster dinner prepared by a private chef in your home-away-from-home. Not a bad way to erase the memories of those four-putts. The three-day, two-night "Buddy Trip" is available for groups of eight or more and goes for $2,300 for double occupancy and $2,800 for single occupancy.
