They are Tom Watson (-2 thru 15), Loren Roberts (-1 thru 15), Mark O'Meara (-1 thru 15), Mark Johnson (E thru 16), Ben Crenshaw (+1 thru 16) and Hale Irwin (+6 thru 15). D.A. Weibring fired a bogey-free 5-under-par 66, the low round of the tournament, and made the biggest move of the day, jumping from T38 to T6. Both players tied for the lead have local ties. Andy Bean is a resident of nearby Lakeland, Fla., and Wayne Levi attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla., during the early 1970s. Levi had the shot of the day on his first hole of the day, the par-4 10th, holing a pitching wedge 118 yards. A total of 240 Charles Schwab Cup points will be awarded to the winner on Sunday. At the end of the official season, the player with the most Schwab Cup points will earn a $1-million annuity. Through three official events in 2007, Hale Irwin leads with 290 points, followed by Loren Roberts with 262 and Tom Kite with 249 points. Craig Stadler withdrew after the round with a wrist injury. He was 16-over 138 thru 36 holes. The second round will resume at 7:30 a.m. ET Sunday morning. The final round is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. Players will go off both the first and 10th tees.
