Oct. 26, 2007

Mark McNulty had the day's biggest turnaround. After shooting a 2-over-par 74 on Thursday, McNulty bounced back with a 6-under-par 66 on Friday.

Scott Simpson remained bogey free after 36 holes, the only player in the field to have yet to make a bogey.

• Joe Ozaki, who is making his first appearance in the tournament, shot a 7-under-par 67 on Friday and trails by three strokes heading to the weekend.

• A total of 17 players finished with rounds in the 60s on Friday, seven more than on Thursday and the field scoring average dropped more than a stroke from 70.483 to 69.034.

Tom Kite posted his 18th consecutive round of par or better following a 5-under-par 67 on Friday.

• With two rounds remaining, Charles Schwab Cup leader Loren Roberts is tied for 18th and runner-up Jay Haas is currently tied for 10th. The only other players with a chance to win the Charles Schwab Cup -- Brad Bryant and Tom Watson -- are tied for fourth and tied for 25th, respectively. Players only earn points with a top-10 finish with double points going to those top-10 finishers.

• Jim Thorpe has had the fewest putts after 36 holes (54). He ranks 28th in that category this year on the Champions Tour.

• Jay Haas leads in Greens in Regulation at 91.67% (33 of 36) and D.A. Weibring leads in Driving Accuracy at 82.14 percent (23 of 28).

• Loren Roberts has had the most success on the par-5 holes with week, posting birdies on seven of the eight par-5 holes. However, Roberts is 2-over par on both par-3s and par-4s.
