Keith Fergus is the only player in the field who has not made a bogey over his first 36 holes at The Ocean Club at Hammock Beach. He's bidding to win his first Champions Tour title and become the eighth different winner on the circuit this year.

• Prior to Saturday, the only other time that Keith Fergus held sole possession of the lead on the Champions Tour was after two rounds of the 2005 SBC Classic in southern California. He was up by one stroke at Valencia CC through 36 holes, but carded a final-round 77 and finished T6.

• Should Fergus go on and win tomorrow, he would become just the second player to win titles on the PGA TOUR, Nationwide Tour and Champions Tour. In 2005 at the Commerce Bank Championship, Ron Streck became the first to accomplish the feat. Fergus' last victory came on the Nationwide Tour at the 1994 Boise Open. His best finish to date on the Champions Tour is a playoff loss to Tom Kite at last year's Boeing Greater Seattle Classic.

• The 36-hole leader/co-leader has won four times in the first seven events on the Champions Tour this year, but only once in the last four tournaments.

• Should Tom Purtzer overtake Keith Fergus Sunday, he would claim his fifth career title on the Champions Tour, but more importantly, would claim back-to-back titles on the circuit for the first time since Jay Haas won back-to-back at last year's FedEx Kinko's Classic and Senior PGA Championship.

• Tom Purtzer's 66 Saturday was his eighth consecutive round in the 60s, a 2007 best for most consecutive sub-70 rounds.

• A Brad Bryant victory Sunday would be his third career title on the Champions Tour and first in Florida since claiming the 1995 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic.

• The Ocean Club at Hammock Beach played easier Saturday than in did in Round 1.There were 19 rounds in the 60s Saturday compared to 14 sub-70 scores Friday. Also, 37 players broke par on Saturday compared to 29 Friday. The field scoring average Saturday was 71.679, vs. 72.833 on Friday. Through two rounds, the back nine has played more than a stroke harder than the front side (36.692 vs. 35.564).

• The par-4 16th hole played the hardest Saturday (4.385) and the par-5 10th hole played as the easiest (4.359). There were 41 birdies and two eagles made at No. 10. Just three birdies were made at No. 18 (Purtzer, M. Smith, Thorpe).

• A total of 23 eagles have been made through two rounds. Mark O'Meara had a pair of eagles Friday and both Tom Purtzer and Bobby Wadkins had multiple eagles Saturday. Purtzer has eagled the par-5 sixth hole both days and Bryant has made eagle at the par-5 second hole in each of the first two rounds.

Kenny Knox's 7-under 65 Saturday was his career-best on the Champions Tour and was the low round of the day. Knox's round moved him up 48 places into a T14, the biggest move by any player in the field.

• Tom Purtzer had the longest measured drive of the day, 333 yards at the par-5 10th hole...Ed Dougherty hit all 14 fairways Saturday while Bobby Wadkins hit 16 of 18 greens, the most by any player in the field on Saturday...Dave Eichelberger had 12 one-putts in shooting 68 Saturday.

• Sunday's final round gets underway at 9:15 a.m. with play starting off both the 1st and 10th tees.
