| Oct. 24, 2007 Who could win? Tournament coverage T.J. Auclair PGATOUR.com Interactive Producer Pick: Lucas Glover Talk about refreshed. Glover hasn't teed it up in a tournament since competing in The Presidents Cup nearly a month ago. He's a fierce competitor and must be itching to play this week. Prior to his hiatus, Glover tied for 14th at both the Deutsche Bank Championship and the BMW Championship. We'll see if that solid play can carry over after a long break. He's played great golf since the beginning of the summer, put himself in position to be a no-brainer Captain's Pick for Jack Nicklaus at The Presidents Cup and the only thing missing to complete the season is a victory. Brett Avery The Fantasy Insider Pick: Pat Perez This guy's been all over the map this season, beginning with six top-10s (including last week's tie for sixth in the Fry's Electronics Open) and 11 times that he's either missed the cut or WDed. Here's a hint to why he looks especially good this week: He tanked in the Memorial Tournament, U.S. Open and The Barclays but went deep at the Mayakoba Golf Classic and Fry's Electronics Open. Ranking 22nd in scoring average on TOUR this season (70.05) -- and 10th in final-round scoring average (69.94) -- are terrific strengths. If he can pick up the nuances of this new course he could wind up the year well north of $2 million in official earnings -- he has $1,678,295 going into the week. Lauren Deason PGATOUR.com Editorial Coordinator Pick: Chris Stroud Other than a tie for fifth at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Stroud didn't have a great record from January to August. In fact, he missed 13 cuts in 17 tournaments. Then Stroud hit the PGA TOUR Fall Series where he has made four of five cuts -- earning a tie for sixth at the Valero Texas Open and a tie for 12th last week in Scottsdale. Can he continue to improve his season with another strong finish at the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro? Melanie Hauser PGATOUR.com Correspondent Pick: Rich Beem There are so many solid sleeper picks in the field, you could throw a dart and find one no one could argue with. Then there's Beemer. He's been opening fast; closing not so fast. But he's too good not to get this figured out. He's been close, so ... why not at a new event on a new course? Dave Lagarde PGATOUR.com Correspondent Pick: Harrison Frazar His back is up against the wall at No. 129 on the money list. He has missed 10 of his last 11 cuts, but this could be the big event to save his season. John Maginnes PGATOUR.com Contributor Pick: Jose Coceres Jose Coceres began the year with two playoff losses. Later, he finished fifth at THE PLAYERS Championship. He plays his best golf on Bermuda greens. When you consider that he began the year playing out of the past champions category and is now fully exempt for next year, you have to be impressed. Jose has a little unfinished business in South Florida. He might pick up the trophy that eluded him back in March. Helen Ross PGATOUR.com Chief of Correspondents Pick: Lucas Glover Glover is playing for the first time since his solid performance at The Presidents Cup where the rookie earned two points for the victorious U.S. Team. He's been consistent this summer, only finishing out of the top 20 three times in his last 10 starts. Plus, Glover likes this time of year -- he picked up his first TOUR win two years ago this week. Dave Shedloski PGATOUR.com Senior Correspondent Pick: Ken Duke Whatever local knowledge is out there belongs to a handful of Ginn-sponsored players, and Duke is one of them. The rookie has had a solid season, but hasn't been in the top 10 since May, though he's come close. Florida residents tend to excel in the Sunshine State. We think a bright light could shine on Duke this week. Wondering how our PGATOUR.com experts are doing? Check out the latest standings:
