Only four weeks remain to either solidify a strong position or to simply qualify for the first-ever PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup. As has been demonstrated recently, it's not too late to move up. Most of the bubble players are on hand this week seeking to move up the standings and several top ranked players are here as well trying to land a Top 15 spot in the standings. Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker are the only two players in the top-10 that have not secured a victory in 2007.

The seventh Presidents Cup will be contested at The Royal Montreal Golf Club in Montreal, Canada on Sept. 27-30, 2007. It will be the third international venue for the biennial event, following Australia (1998) and South Africa (2003). Captains Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus return to lead the International and United States teams, respectively. The Presidents Cup was developed to give the world's best non-European players an opportunity to compete in international team match-play competition. A biennial event played in non-Ryder Cup years, the first Presidents Cup was played in 1994 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. Members of the 2007 U.S. Team will be selected based on official earnings from the start of the 2006 season through the 2007 PGA Championship. International Team players for the 2007 Presidents Cup will be chosen on the basis of the Official World Golf Ranking. International Teams do not include players eligible for the European Ryder Cup Team. The eligibility rankings are used to select 10 members for both squads. The 12-man teams are rounded out by two Captain's Choices per team.
