Usually this space is reserved for an historical, numerical account of the history of the following weekend's tournament. However, the AT&T National has no history, only a present. You see, this weekend will be the inaugural event.

So, if you'll allow, we'll deviate slightly from the norm this week. What follows is a statistical look at the PGA TOUR through the first six months of the 2007 season.
