WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS | Accenture Match Play Championship field developing TUCSON, Ariz. -- With the qualification deadline nearly one month away, the field for this year's World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship continues to develop as players move into position for the 64-player match-play event at The Gallery Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Tucson, Arizona, on Feb. 19-25. The top 64 available players from the Official World Golf Ranking released on Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, will qualify for this year's event as the tournament moves to Arizona for the first time after being contested at La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., for seven of the last eight years. If the tournament were held today, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, Adam Scott and Phil Mickelson would hold the top spots in the Bobby Jones, Gary Player, Sam Snead and Ben Hogan brackets, respectively. Vijay Singh, winner of last week's Mercedes-Benz Championship, currently ranks No. 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking, but could easily find himself as a No. 1 seed if his winning form continues. Defending champion, and 2006 U.S. Open winner, Geoff Ogilvy is also well within the top 64 at No. 9 in the rankings. Players in each of the four brackets are seeded No. 1 through No. 16, with the top-ranked golfer playing the No. 16 seed, No. 2 pairing off against No. 15, No. 3 vs. No. 14, and so forth in the first round. The following are the top 64 ranked players as of Monday, Jan. 8:
