• Fred Funk also became the fifth-oldest winner in PGA TOUR history, and the first player over 50 to win on the circuit since Craig Stadler won the 2003 B.C. Open. He also joins Stadler as just the second player to capture a PGA TOUR event after winning on the Champions Tour.

• After earning a Champions Tour victory in his rookie season last year, Funk rolled to a record 11-stroke victory at the Turtle Bay Championship in January, where he led wire-to-wire and played bogey-free golf over the three days. The 11-stroke margin erased the previous mark of nine strokes by three players, the most recent being Dave Stockton at the 1993 Franklin Quest Championship. Stadler won the Ford Senior Players Championship in 2003, and the B.C. Open the following week.

• Fred Funk has now won six (of 12) TOUR events when holding at least a share of the 54-hole lead. Those victories came at the 1992 Shell Houston Open, 1995 Ideon Classic, 1995 Buick Challenge, 1996 B.C. Open, 1998 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic, 2004 Southern Farm Bureau Classic and 2007 Mayakoba Golf Classic.

• PGA TOUR Qualifying School graduates Ryan Armour (4th) and Stephen Marino (8th) and Brendon de Jonge (T9) were the three rookies to finish in the top 10 this week. Armour logged his first career top-10 at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (T9) two weeks ago in just his fourth TOUR start. Qualifying School graduate Marino logged his first career top-10 this week in his seventh career TOUR event, the fifth of his rookie season.

• Former Masters champion Larry Mize (T9) posted just his second top-10 in his last 83 starts dating back to 2001.

Jose Coceres (2), Brendon de Jonge (T9), Larry Mize (T9) and Skip Kendall (T9) all earned a top-10 exemptions into next week's Honda Classic. Jose Coceres' playoff record now stands at 1-1 on the PGA TOUR.

• Fred Funk earned his eighth career PGA TOUR victory in his 577th career PGA TOUR start. He also set the course record in the first round with an 8-under-par 62, and his playoff record now stands at 2-3.

• Funk brought his career earnings to $20,146,189 in his 19-year TOUR career. This ranks him 11th on the Career Money list.
