Strong Horse: Aaron Baddeley
6th in FedExCup points
Baddeley is playing the best golf of his career at the best possible time. The Aussie hit the ball perfectly last week at Cog Hill in the BMW Championship. Because Baddeley is one of the TOUR's best putters, he is capable of going low.
Baddeley finished second to Tiger Woods last week, but Baddeley's 20 under would have won the tournament in any other year. He hasn't shot worse than 71 in the last 12 rounds.
This will be Baddeley's first appearance at East Lake.

Dark Horse: Heath Slocum
29th in FedExCup points
Slocum has finished in the top 25 in over the half (13) of the events he has played in 2007. Slocum doesn't rely on power -- he is 158th in driving distance -- but strong putting has propelled him to his first TOUR Championship.
Slocum played on the same high school golf team as Boo Weekley, who also be making his first TOUR Championship start.
