Pick: David Toms
It's difficult to bet against a player like Toms at TPC Southwind, a course where he has finished in the top-10 in each of the last five years, highlighted by back-to-back wins in 2003 and '04, followed by a sole second in '05. On top of all that, Toms is due for a breakout week. In 13 starts this year, he hasn't missed the cut once. Furthermore, he hasn't missed a cut on TOUR since the Buick Open at the beginning of last August. Toms will play well as he usually does in Memphis.

Pick: David Toms
TFI initially had Padraig Harrington penciled into this slot but at the last minute switched to a player with back-to-back top 10s (tied for fifth at the Memorial Tournament, tied for sixth at THE PLAYERS Championship) and a Shell Houston Open title. Top rankings in birdies (4.41 per round) and par breakers (24.65 percent) are strong trump cards for TPC Southwind.

Pick: Fredrik Jacobson
Some of the world's best international players are in the field this week as they prepare for next week's U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club. Included on that list is long-time European Tour player Fredrik Jacobson, who tied for fifth at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley last week. He's never won on the PGA TOUR but his best-ever finish was a tie for third at the 2003 FedEx St. Jude Classic (now the Stanford St. Jude Championship). In fact, in four starts at TPC Southwind, Jacobson has finished in the top-10 three times. Hmm, coming off of a top-5 finish, making a start at the venue where he has performed best on the PGA TOUR. Sounds like the time is right for his first win.

Pick: Sergio Garcia
Sergio Garcia will win in Memphis this week. Sergio has been playing well lately and it is time for him to step back into the winner's circle. This is a kid that could be a huge factor next week at Oakmont. Besides, the way that Sergio looks these days he probably won't be filling up on ribs at rendezvous. Those delicious little beauties have derailed more than one player's chance to win here.

Pick: Sean O'Hair
Tough choice. With Adam Scott, Anthony Kim and Fredrik Jacobson right there, too, it was a tough call, but we're doing the Darrell Royal thing and dancing with what brung us. O'Hair didn't close it out last week at Memorial, but he turned around and qualified for the Open. Too much in a week? Believe that and, well, you don't know Sean.

Pick: David Toms
The former PGA champion seems to have the TPC Southwind's number -- finishing in the top 10 in his last five starts, including victories in 2003 and 2004 and second in his bid for a three-peat in 2005. Toms has cooled off a little since posting four top-10s in his first nine starts, but a return to Memphis might be just what he needs to kick start his season as the summer heats up.

Pick: Adam Scott
Mr. Scott, the No. 4 player in the world and the highest-ranked player in the field in Memphis, was not a happy camper last week at the Memorial Tournament presented by Morgan Stanley. He played some exceptional golf, but late stumbles in the third and fourth rounds prevented him from overtaking eventual winner K.J. Choi. Put an Australian player enjoying good form on Bermuda-grass greens, and he should be on the leaderboard. Scott, who shot 62, in the second round of the Memorial, won't let another slip away.
