Which player will win this weekend's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial? Our experts weigh in:
T.J. Auclair
PGATOUR.com Interactive Producer
Pick: Jim Furyk
In 11 trips to Fort Worth, Furyk has missed the cut just two times and has racked up four top-10s, including a second in 1998. Over the last several years, he has been the model of consistency. In 2007, the world's No. 3 ranked player started out hot with three top-10 finishes early, but hasn't done much since. Before his tie for 28th at THE PLAYERS two weeks ago, Furyk missed two cuts in a row for the first time since October of the 2004 season. That will add fuel to the fire that drives him at Colonial which is a shotmaker's course -- one where length doesn't mean much.

TFI has a nasty habit of taking a player one week, watching him stumble around a bit and then seeing him burst into contention (or win) the following week. So this week hešs tagging to this guy for a do-over on last weekšs tie for 24th in the AT&T Classic. The two starts before that he tied for fifth (Wachovia Championship) and third (THE PLAYERS) so hešs been hot lately. Finished in a tie for 14th or better three of the last four years at Colonial CC and co-runner-up in 2000 on a final-round 71, two behind Phil Mickelson. So he has something to prove this week.

Pick: Jim Furyk
After missing the cut at the Verizon Heritage and the Wachovia Championship, Furyk rebounded with a tie for 28th at THE PLAYERS Championship. Still, he hasn't had his best year, with zero wins and just three top 10s. Believe it or not, Furyk's is No. 32 in FedExCup points, but with a win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial he could add a nifty 4,500 to his total. His best finish at Colonial was a solo second in 1998, but he's only missed two cuts there in 11 events and has had four top 10s.

Yes, it's a bit off the grid, but so what? Have you been watching him lately? A passle of top-15s in a row and counting. Forget that his best finish here was a T15 in 1995, he's been playing this course for half his life. Played here twice, in fact, as an amateur. Classic swing, classic course. And his accuracy off the tee doesn't hurt. Neither does the hope of a spot on the Presidents Cup.

Pick: Bo Van Pelt
Bound to be a popular choice, given his performance on this ball striker's track in three opportunities. Has T12, T17 and T5 on his Colonial resume, but will have to do better than his personal best of seven under par if he is going to locate the winner's circle. Coming in fresh after taking off last week and his T10 at the Verizon underlines he knows his way around tight, tree-lined layouts.

Pick: John Rollins
It's a home game for Rollins, who is also rested after a week off. Look for the Virginian who now lives in Texas to delight a posse of relatives with the third victory of his career.

The golf course suits him better than the course that he won on a few weeks back. Why not a Texan on a golf course that requires players to move the ball in both directions. He is still playing well and should be over the rush of victory.

Pick: David Toms
The go-to guy this week with his three top-four finishes at Colonial and a game that seems custom made for navigating doglegs and tricky greens. His game has been stuck in neutral since the Florida Swing, save for a decent week at the Masters, but Toms, now 24th in the world rankings, is capable of putting a few more impressive weeks together, and this is a good place for him to start.
The Champions Tour is in action this week at the Senior PGA Championship in South Carolina. PGA TOUR.com editorial coordinator Lauren Deason gives us her pick:
Jay Haas. Sure, he's the defending champion of the Senior PGA Championship (held last year at Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmund, Okla.) and seemingly has won or is defending every other tournament on the Champions Tour. But that's not why this one should go to Haas, who'd become the first player since Hale Irwin to defend at the Senior PGA Championship. It's because he's playing in his adopted home state of South Carolina in front of family, friends and fans and for that, it'd be an extra special win for Haas.
The Nationwide Tour is in action this week at the Melwood Prince George's County Open in Maryland. PGA TOUR.com contributor Dave Lagarde gives us his pick:
Marc Turnesa -- Rookie had a terrific weekend at the BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs, posting 67-66 for a T3, his career-best finish. This is a new event, where there is no advantage in local knowledge. Go with the guy with momentum.
